Rangers

It always seems that when the Mariners look a little down, the Rangers come to town and make everything all better. In this case, after losing two to Baltimore, Seattle got to go to Texas and take two from them. It just feels nice to compound another team’s misery; especially the team of Alex Rodriguez.

Not that I’m an A-Rod hater; I probably would have taken the money and ran too (though I’m not sure I would have run to the Rangers, yuck.) As good as the Mariners are, you just can’t deny that they would be even better with Alex in the lineup. Guillen is as solid defensively as Alex is, but no shortstop in history swings the bat as well as Alex. On some of these nights when Seattle is getting ten or more hits with only two or three runs scored, it should would be nice to have him back.
