Ready, set, distress!

Please note: This post was written some time ago (24 years ago). I was only 24 years old when this post was written. My perspectives, knowledge, and opinions may have evolved significantly since then. I think I’m as ready as I can be for my history exam later this morning. I’ve spent the last few days trying to cram every bit of post-Civil War trivia into my brain as possible. Our professor is allowing us to bring in one 3x5 card with whatever notes we want on it. You can bet that I fully utilised the smallest type that my printer could print onto that card.

Speaking of my printer, I realized the other day that I sent almost a thousand sheets of paper through it this semester. That’s a lot of drafts and research. Probably an unhealthy amount. The quickest way to repetitive strain injury is a liberal arts major, I think. Luckily my wrists and carpal tunnels are still just fine. Someday though I’m sure I’ll be plotting revenge against my instructors for the debilitating pain I’ll start having about the time I’m thirty-five.
